After 5 and half years on the Poetry Scene,(since '07) Honest Abe decided to re-release his debut hit underground album, Brooklyn's Lost Son a month after the 1 year anniversary of its July 2011 birth. Whats different bout the anniversary edition is, it comes a bonus live track never before released along with the original bonus. Both hidden. Still filled with the gritty BK style hustler's ambition lost soul feel. This hip-hop, bluesy, soul stirring lyric induced album will touch you one way or another...bring you through just the beginning of a long journey of finding self.

First and fore most I'll like to thank Omni Blaize for taking a chance on me to record this album in his home studio. Also producing 2 tracks(Another Tragic Poetic Symphony & Beat The Beast) and co-arranging the remain tracks. My brother in words and knowledge, R.L. Tha Gifted 1 for his verse on "Speech Pattern". And David "The Werdsman" Lewis for his contribution to "Beat The Beast" & "Runaway Dreams". Of course, gotta make it clear, The Malcolm X snippet used on "Reality Reflection", I claim no copyrights to it. All Rights reserved to the Shabbaz estate with respect. And the front and back cover design done by my brother (blood) Andrew.
